Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority is entrusted with the responsibility of administration of the Investor Education Protection Fund (IEPF), making refunds of shares, unclaimed dividends, matured deposits/debentures etc. to investors, promoting awareness among investors, and protecting the interests of the investors.

What is IEPF Dividend ?

When dividend has not been claimed or encashed for seven years by the shareholder, the Company is required to transfer it to the IEPF. Such dividend will remain with IEPF till it is claimed by the shareholder by fulfilling the legal requirement.

What is IEPF Shares ?

The shares on which dividend has not been claimed or encashed by the shareholder for seven consecutive years or more are transferred to the IEPF.
